About Us

Wear your Nailsens nail art with adhesive tabs, also known as jelly tabs. This guide walks you through application, gentle removal, and caring for your set between wears. No UV or LED lamp is needed.

How securely your nails stay on and how long they last depend on the adhesive, nail prep, and your daily activities.

What You'll Need

Your press-on nail set, adhesive tabs, a nail file, a cuticle stick, a suitable nail cleansing wipe, warm water, mild soap, and cuticle oil.

Do not apply tabs to nails or surrounding skin that are damaged, sore, irritated, or infected. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

How to Apply Your Nails

1. Prep Your Natural Nails
Wash your hands and dry them thoroughly.
Gently push back your cuticles without cutting or forcing back living skin. Trim your natural nails as needed.

2. Prep the Nail Surface
Lightly buff away surface shine without thinning your nails.
Use a suitable nail cleansing wipe to remove dust and surface oils. Let your nails dry completely before applying the tabs.

Avoid hand cream or cuticle oil right before application, since oils can keep the tabs from sticking properly.

3. Apply the Adhesive Tabs
Choose a tab that covers your natural nail without overlapping the surrounding skin.
Place the tab on your natural nail. Press firmly for 10 seconds, paying extra attention to the edges to minimize air pockets.

4. Strengthen the Hold
Warm the adhesive with a hair dryer to help the bond last longer. Peel off the protective film without touching the exposed adhesive.

5. Apply Your Press-On Nails
Position the press-on close to your cuticle. Gently lower it onto the adhesive tab, starting at the cuticle and working toward the tip.
Press firmly for 3 seconds, applying pressure to the nail surface rather than delicate raised decorations. Repeat for each nail. Apply your thumbs last to make the remaining tabs easier to handle.

Tips for a Comfortable, Secure Fit

1. Make sure your nails are clean and dry before application. Avoid prolonged soaking, very hot water, and using your nails to pry things open. Wear gloves when cleaning.

2. Keep the area where the tabs are applied dry for 4 hours. If it gets wet, wipe it dry as soon as possible. Avoid washing or soaking your hands immediately after application.

3. If a nail starts to lift, gently remove it instead of pressing it back down over moisture or debris. Clean and dry both surfaces, then reapply with a fresh tab. Adhesive tabs work best for flexible, short-term wear; actual wear time varies.

How to Remove Your Nails

1. Soak your fingertips in comfortably warm, soapy water to help loosen the adhesive. The water should not feel hot against your skin.
Check whether the press-on comes off easily. If it is still firmly attached, soak longer and try again. Never pull or pop it off.

2. Once an edge has loosened, gently ease the nail off. Use a cuticle stick only where the edge has already lifted. Never force it under a nail that is still attached.

3. Gently roll or peel off the softened tab residue. If it does not come off easily, repeat the loosening process rather than scraping forcefully.

Stop if removal is painful. If you cannot comfortably remove a nail, get help from a qualified nail professional.

Aftercare & Reuse

1. Clean and dry your natural nails after removal, then apply cuticle oil to moisturize. Give your nails a break if they feel tender or look damaged.

2. Carefully remove any remaining tab residue from the underside of each press-on. Avoid bending the nails, scraping aggressively, or soaking delicate decorations longer than necessary. Do not use acetone or harsh solvents, which can damage acrylic/PMMA nails and decorative finishes.

3. Let your press-ons dry completely, then store them in their box away from heat and direct sunlight. Use a fresh adhesive tab each time you apply them. Check your set before each use, and do not wear cracked or damaged nails.
